The company that would eventually become known as Peace Love & Tye Dye began its formation in late 2006, when then Florida State sophomore Katy Segale began experimenting with the art of tie-dying. What initially began as a hobby meant to fill her hours not spend studying, quickly evolved into a realization that selling a $20 t-shirt meant she didn’t have to live off the quarters found in the couch anymore. As her customer base steadily grew from the demands of her three roommates to include selling in boutiques, paychecks and waiting lists, Peace Love & Tye Dye became an official business in 2009. Now an Orlando-based company with three full-time employees, we strive to meet the needs of today’s consumers by creating quality hand-made shirts that are truly one-of-a-kind.
